Jakarta, September 2025 – Mercure Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk presents “Treasures of Japan: A Dining Journey with Chef Mami Imai.” The event starts on 17 September 2025 at NSNTR Bistro & Bar. From 18 September, it runs daily. Guests can enjoy Japanese flavours from Chef Mami Imai and the hotel’s chefs.
Chef Mami Imai was born in Kobe and now lives in Tokyo. She is a chef, teacher, and author with more than 20 years of experience. She is known for Japanese home cooking. In addition, she adds modern twists to traditional recipes. For this event with Yamamori, she presents Zouni, Nikujaga, Temaki Sushi, Salted Karaage, and Beef Okonomiyaki.
The hotel chefs also enrich the menu. Cluster Executive Chef Edi Pancamala creates Tuna Tataki (with Hydrococo) and Chicken Truffle Gyoza. Cluster Executive Pastry Chef Budi Kurniawan then prepares Mango Sticky Rice Sushi (with Hydrococo) and Mochi Cheesecake. In addition, partners such as Meat & Livestock Australia, Yamamori, Edo, and Hydrococo support the menu. As a result, the programme offers both quality and creativity.
Guests can enjoy two dining styles.
Weekdays (Lunch & Dinner): All You Can Eat Plated Dining, Freshly prepared dishes served and brought to your table.
Weekends (Brunch & Dinner): All You Can Eat Buffet Dining, A complete selection with live gueridon service and a Saturday Brunch sushi making class.
